There are many wildlife that can be seen at Sungei Buloh. Unfortunately i was hoping to spot snakes especially the King Cobra but i guess it was wishful thinking as they are pretty rare to spot ! Maybe next time. The photos below are some of the animals i manage to get shots of during my visit.
At the visitor center of Sungei Buloh don't forget to look up as you may spot a colony of little red flying foxes (Pteropus scapulatus) where we commonly label them as bats. Don't forget to look closely as some of them would have pugs with them.
It was also good time as we arrived during low tide and from the bridge at Sungei Buloh, thre were opportunity to spot many waders and birds getting their morning breakfast. If you are lucky and i was told that most visitors seem to be able to spot them more are the Estuarine crocodile (Crocodylus porosus). The crocodiles have been calling Sungei Buloh their sanctuary as the rivers over on the Johor side have seen heavy development especially property development. So it was not surprising to spot one today as well.
As shared earlier, i didn't manage to catch sight of any snakes, but it was still an eventful day of exploring.
