Pack of Smooth-Coated Otters feeding at Sungei Tampines

Smooth-coated otters or just otters for short has become a very common sight throughout Singapore thanks to the forward looking plan in keeping Singapore waterways clean. This translates to abundance of fresh water fishes that have become an easy source of food supply for the otters. This and the lack of predators have made the population of smooth otters grow. Still it always interesting to spot them. I saw this pack of Smooth-Coated Otters feeding at Sungei Tampines and very much like packs of wolves or wild dogs, they work together to catch their prey. See the video below on their feast of fishes.
