An interesting observation of a solitary smooth-coated otter chasing after what looks like a dog-faced water snake at Pasir Ris Park at Sungai Tampines. The otter was "playing" with the snake and was chasing it. The dog-faced snake tried to hide among the roots of the mangrove but the otter was very fast. There were several occasions where the otter could have gone for the kill by biting the snake but it seemed to be toying with it. Unfortunately, it move further and i could see the outcome of this.
