Happy Birdwatching 2023 from Pasir Ris Park

Another New Year has arrived and what better way to start it with some bird watching. A new baby Spotted Wood Owl was reported to be creating a buzz at Pasir Ris Park and i headed there to try to spot it. An added bonus was also the sighting of the Crested Goshawk and also an Oriental Honey Buzzard (Dark Morph).

The family of Daddy, Mummy and Baby Spotted Wood Owl was the star attraction and also the baby one is the cutest one to observe.

The final one i got a glimpse was the Oriental Honey Buzzard (Dark Morph). Unfortunately it was not the best of shots, but at got one for record purposes.

Have a good and healthy year ahead everyone. I do hope you can spot all the birds you want to see, but for the process of enjoying it is more fun rather than the number of spots. All the best and may you like the Red Jungle Fowl have a more "helicopter outlook" or high vantage point view rather than sweat on the small stuff !
